Pandora for books...it does exist!

Bear in mind that it's beta. Very, very beta. But the good folks at Booklamp are trying to magic up a site that will do for books what Pandora has done for music. I guess sometimes dreams do come true. They don't have enough books in their database to make the site very useful as an actual readers' advisory tool, but it's interesting enough to play around with, and it makes me hope that a more comprehensive site will be developed at some point. I came across Booklamp in a Lifehacker article on bookworms, which has a bunch of nerdy tidbits for the bookishly inclined.
